I'm looking at getting a dstwo +

which requires your 3dsfirmware to be downgraded

my question is if i downgrade to use the dstwo+ can i still play online (even though my firmware will be 4.3)
?

LOL just get to point right YOUR FUCKED :rofl2::rofl2:
Depends what he is downgrading from 7.1 to 4.5 (unnecessary) or 10.3 to 9.2 (impossible). But he can still play NDS,GBA SNES and much more just not 3DS games, if that's the case then you wouldn't need to downgrade.

9.2 and BELOW can downgrade. Not above. Online play can be done on an older firmware, as long as you have the latest update data installed

Nope, only on 9.2 and lower. And actually, if you're on 9.2, it's pretty useless to downgrade afaik :P

Well, it's possible even on non hacked consoles, if you have the game's latest update installed.

Just keep in mind that:

1) If you download ROMs and try to play online with a public header, it's really likely you'll be banned. You need to get a private header to play games online safely.
2) Some users have reported console bricks using Gateway's mode with the DSTwo+, so be really careful if you buy it. I would personally recommend to only use it for DS games and DS homebrews / emulators, and to install a CFW (RXTools on O3DS, ReiNAND on N3DS) to play 3DS backups.

It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
