Gaming downgrading psp slim from 3.90 M33 to original fw

Hi All

i have a psp slim with dark Alex 3.90 M33 fw installed. unfortunately the psp has been damaged (screen is not working correctly) and i need to take it back on warranty.

i have tried to install the original fw but i have not been successful

can you please point me to a guide or instruct me on restoring my original fw

thanks for that. i saw the guide on this site. i take it that i would do the same except to replace the fw file on the memory stick with the offcial fw?
