Hardware Homebrew Downgrade

My ps4 pro is modded with the version 11.00 is there a tutorial to downgrade to a lower version?
You do not need to downgrade if your console is already modded. What is your goal here? If you're not that experienced at soldering then don't bother.

Don’t people want to downgrade to 7.00 for some reason than 11.00?
Don't do it if you can't solder AND unless you actually know you can downgrade/revert to something lower. You could get all the tools needed and soldered up just to find out your second slot is also 11.00. You could also break the pin(s) or fry some capacitors, a lot can go wrong if you don't know what you're doing. Just stay on 11.00. :yayps3:

You can go down to the one previous formware that you had installed.
So if you are on 11.00, there is a good chance that you can go to 10.50.

But that has no advantages at all. So rather just leave it alone.

don't people read? if you don't have the required syscon files from the previous fw you need (iirc t is console specific so just grabbing the required files off the net won't work) that in mind, unless you previously dumped the files you can't revert....plus the pppwn exploit works fine just use a linux VM or wsl2 (on windows) to run it

What’s your issue? Not a single comment in this thread assumes any of that

OP asked if it was possible and didn’t know the term revert and then someone else clarified that they need a backup or can only go back to the previous firmware without a backup

sorry it just seems like it's being asked over and over despite the answer being given already like twice in this thread

I went more in depth cause they left out the info about the console specific data you need to dump before even updating (using other data from another ps4 will brick it (similar to the switch) though the way the ps4 prevents downgrading is different it strips the hashing data when updating to prevent a downgrade the switch burns efuses akin to the Xbox 360
