Hacking Downgrade question... Brazilian 3DS

i have a 3ds in 9.0sysnand
bought in brazil

can i downgrade using the USA files from gateway? since there arent brazil files and any 3ds bought in here ONLY PLAY USA games

If the exact firmware is 9.0.0-20U, yes, just use the US dg file.

Brazil doesn't have an own region, pretty much all America is region U (North, South, Center and... Saudi Arabia... part of America according to Nintendo).
But as VerseHell says, take a look at the final letter on your FW in System Settings: U = America.
