Can I downgrade to 11.1? I heard there is a way to downgrade. And does 9.2 have Miiverse and does it look like the new HOME Menu(with themes)?

Hardmod or DSiware downgrade method (with another system with custom firmware) are your only options in terms of downgrading on 11.1. Please do a Google search BEFORE asking these types of auestions. This has been answered several thousand times already. :/

Does hardmod void warranty? Do I have to install stuff?

Here's some French dude downgrading his 11.1 3DS to 9.2

hardmod makes physical modifications to your 3ds which could break it so, yes it does void warranty.

you need to install downgrade files, but that is it.

Don't ever listen to video guides. They are horribly out of date. That guy did something else to this 3DS because there is no way to natively downgrade your 11.1 system without the 2 methods I mentioned earlier. Hardmod requires soldering wires to your system. If you can't do that, then you're better off sending it to someone who can do it. Since you're in the US, I recommend talking to @vb_encryption_vb to send them your system.

Well, my sister has a Old 3ds that hasn't been hacked, but I could just put the freakyhax files on her SD and load the hack

If she has 11.X then it won't work. (She likely does.)

Which it could take another decade until someone find one.
I think people are waiting till the 3ds is dead to make arm9 exploits as they can be patched by nintendo quickly. I expect to see an arm9 exploit after ninty stops releasing updates.

If it's 10.7 or below, give it A9LH + CFW: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki
And then following my link above for DSiware Downgrade.

After I read the 11.0 can't easily downgrade thread, I think it will be unlikely.
Also, I don't see a benefit to find a way to hack outdated console.
People stop hacking NDSi when 3DS come out, Am I right?

Actually, that's pretty wrong. Say, the PSP's Infinity FW came long after the release of the Vita and the last update by Sony.
Also, no, there are a few fairly recent DSi hacking posts, but don't forget - the DSiWareHax wasn't used by many for the DSi in the first place, most just used any DS-mode flashcart.

Finally, all we need for a 11.0 software downgrade is an ARM9 kernel exploit as far as I know. We need "just" that, and 11.0 would be the new 9.2. With an ARM9 kernel exploit, we can bypass the title downgrade lists, and go from 11.0 to 2.1 for the OTP on o3DS easily.

While it isn't easily downgradable it is possible.
The benefit is so people can hack their consoles in a future where they all come on 11.X or higher and have no exploits.
The NDS never had hacks. Only flashcarts. The homebrew has slowed down but it isn't dead. Look at the wii. That is still getting new homebrew. What about the gamecube? Unhackable? https://gbatemp.net/threads/new-gamecube-exploits.420900/

Dont think so. It has already been found and done by reliable sources on regedit (just look at the 11.0 exploit thread here) and has a release date (take a peek at the YouTube channel of the said source) we just dont know yet because he is holding it, probably waiting for the inevitable destroyer update Nintendo will roll after Pokémon S&M release. Just wait.
