You need to modify config.ini yourself to fit your preferred options. Here is the default option from @josete2k attachment zip included.
Code:
[HEKATE]
name=Reboot to hekate
path=/bootloader/update.bin

I just tested and It works!!

And this is a telsa ovl menu, so call up overlay as usual.

I copied the files and I really don't know what I'm doing wrong that until now I can't reboot the hetake.
Which command do you use to show the hetake for reboot?
Edit:
Is there any command to be made by switch buttons to appear on the list, such as reboot to hetake?

Thank you! I also came here to see if reboot to payload was possible on OLED.

Would this work with the latest LineageOS 18.1?
The example on the GitHub for android is
[ANDROID]
name=Android
path=/bootloader/update.bin
bootId=SWANDR

Would I just swap Android with LineageOS 18.1?
Example:
[LineageOS 18.1]
name=LineageOS 18.1
path=/bootloader/update.bin
bootId=SWANDR

Edit: it didn’t worK, it just booted hekate
2nd Edit: Can someone confirm this is the correct config for booting Lineage for when its possible? I see on the GitHub that the mod only works for booting payload.bin which is Hekate for Mariko devices.

Are you already set up or will it be a new set up?
im Assuming you want to install on Mariko device, you’ll want to follow the rentry guide. https://rentry.org/MarikoEmuNAND
the rentry guide has a lot of good information. https://rentry.co/SwitchHackingIsEasy
https://github.com/TTghostsemir/fastCFWswitch

looking at it, would it be just to add this here?

[SYSMMC]
name=sysMMC
path=/bootloader/update.bin
bootId=sysnand

[EMUMMC]
name=emuMMC
path=/bootloader/update.bin
bootId=emunand

Pretty much, you can either use the overlay or the nro. You can make a nsp forwarder if you want.
Can I suggest a power off option?

Now I'm using the OFF-switch from ITotalJustice with a forwarder:

https://github.com/ITotalJustice/Off-Switch

In my unpatched erista I had the power off payload and launched vía fastCFWswitch.

I'll try with an entry in the hekate_ipl.ini... Studious Pancake should list it.

    @SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

    anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

    if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
    still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
    i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
    It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
