Android Doom emulators

I was wondering how many doom emulators are available for android, I have only found 5 and I was wondering if more were out there.
The ones I found I put together in a video, all here

No, no it isn't. Most "Doom" games you see are just a ported Prboom Plus engine, which just so happens is able to run Doom and Doom 2.


Anyways, Doom plays like poop on a touchscreen, you'd probably be better off emulating the PSX version and using a bluetooth controller

I have an nvidia shield, so I try not to use the touch screen when I can help it.

I did not know about doom being ported to the psx.

PSX/PS1 version is probably the best version made? I have tried some version made on the PC where they really improved the graphics but it didn't play the same.

Many fond memories of my PS1 and the link cable 2 TV's and 2 PS1's and 2 copies of this game... (I still have all that stuff lol)

I can't imagine trying to play it on a phone... *shudders* just no I can't imagine trying to circle strafe on a touch screen.

It seems the dev that made Doom Touch (it supports gamepads, no need to use touch controls :/ ) is gonna try and port GZDoom onto android if he can convince the auther to change the license for it. Woo .

Thanks. Is he still thinking about it ? It would be awesome if he is. I know he is a member of the doomworld forums but no word from him there. Is he active in the zdoom or drdteam forums ?
