"We're Sorry, this video is no longer available"

At any rate, its impossible to have Doom 3 on a Nintendo DS due to hardware limitations.

it was probably just a crappy video playing on the ds with the kid pretending to "play" it by sort of pressing buttons >_>

Nop.. it's something real.. but it's not "DOOM 3"..
the video is 1 year old btw.. weird..
I think it was using the Doom engine but the guys did their own sprites, map and that based on Doom 3. There was a website for it but it seems to have vanished so perhaps the guys lost interest.

Shame many projects get binned after a while like Ocarina of Time 2D & Grand Theftendo.

Ocarina didn't got canned... the author died... ;(

Grand Theftendo is still being worked on, the website is back up and the dev even replied to my e-mail.

Ah yes I do remember reading about his death.

Nice to hear Theftendo is back on track.

TRM, the original OoT2D creator, never died nor claimed to. He merely disappeared, gone to do stuff with his real life.

You're thinking of Dampe, who started his project years later but publicized his "death" quite a bit, which turned out to be fake. He's alive and kicking. Haven't heard much from him either though.

Glad to hear Grand Theftendo is still being worked on.
