- It uses a single AAA battery, which will last for a long time, due to the basic nature of a control stick, and the already low power consumption of IR. there really should be no reason for it to use a separate battery in the first place. I know for a fact, I (and many others) could design this thing to use the 3DS battery and fit better to the 3DS
go ahead then, design it better, and stable, build a prototype (with all the 3d printers popping up everywhere, that shouldnt be a problem either) then send all of it in to nintendo, capcom OR one of the 3rd party people like madcatz and the like, and they will probably give you money for it
lol, its ridiculous how everyone goes "its going to be standard"
yeah, many games will remember its there and add in secondary camera controls, but do you really believe they wont add controls for people without the 2nd slidepad?
i bet you, even in 3 years, there wont be more than lets say 4 games, that actually force you to have this little 10$ add on.
one of them being monster hunter, the other being a mini game that gets thrown in with the slide pad, like the fling smash+motion plus bundle, anotherone being yet another monster hunter game
and the last one being some shooter
