It's possible play online between a real Wii and Dolphin?
The last time I had checked, dolphin has no support for online play. It cannot connect to the internet, it's the equivalent of an offline wii. So to answer your question, no, it isn't possible (yet).
Yes it's possible, I haven't done it myself, but there are a few videos on youtube showing it. This one came up when I googled it:
Read the description on that video, it has pretty much all the info you need. You can get the latest wii-network branch of dolphin here: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/list/wii-network/
EDIT: is there no way to just link to a youtube video? Will it always just show as embedded on gbatemp?
The Dolphin team seems to be working a lot on Android support rather than cleaning up and merging wii-network, unfortunately.
person66 Use a URL shortener: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhGM-XBZHxw
Edit - I was completely wrong, disregard
it's mostly one guy working on android support. and a different guy working on wii-network. so to say they're mostly working on one and not the other is not the case. it's that one guy has more free time to work on an open source project.
just a fyi, if you've got either a crap computer or internet connection don't even bother using this at all...
Edit: i was just making a point, by the way...
Does it only work for MK Wii? I get connection errors with other games that use Nintendo WFC
it worked for me with mkwii, brawl and pokemon battle revolution
