    Dokapon Journey Getting Localized
    Officially Announced By Atlus Today
    [IMG]

Atlus has announced today that 'Dokapon Journey Nakayoku Kenka Shite' is getting localized and is coming to North America under the title 'Dokapon Journey'. The game is a RPG-board game for the Nintendo DS, and offers single or multi-card local wireless play with up to three other players! The game is "scheduled for release on April 14, 2009".

The story is simple; the kingdom of Dokapon has been invaded by monsters, and the king of the land has offered his throne and the hand of his daughter in marriage to whomever can rid the land of the monsters. Many adventurers have their eye on the rewards, so the player must battle it out amongst the other adventurers to save Dokapon and claim the prizes.

So it's the exact same thing as the Wii game? Awesome, I had so much fun playing that with friends! [IMG]
I just wish it was Wifi enabled.

There's a Wii game? o-o I thought it was DS only... well in that case, I would assume they are the same. This one does have wi-fi though, and in my opinion looks really fun.

I loved the Wii game, just haven't played in a while. I would like a portable version even more. [IMG]

Why does this game look so Summon Night-ish?

I loved playing the PS2 game (Dokopan Journey) at parties. All of my friends apparently have PS2's now.
