Hacking Does the M3DS support multiple save slots?

Well the question speaks for itself.

the only one i know that truly supports multiple save slots is the M3real touchpod firmware.
with it you can just make a backup of your active save to one of the 2 backup slots.
that means you CAN have 3 saves at the same time, however you need to overwrite your current save to restore a backup, so it's best to stick with 2.
otherwise it's still always possible to just put the ROM on your microSD twice.

You can have 2 save slots the old fasioned way; put 2 of the same games into your flashcart

in the old firmware (touchpad) you could just press select to change the save slot before you started the game

or push Start in Sakura and you could restore up to 9 previous played Saves

save restore and multiple saves are different things.
You could always use the RT saving, since you can have one game in save and another in the backup saves. Use RT saving after you saved normally or after restarting if you want to use the in game load as well.
