Hacking does the drivekey modchip work on 4.3e?

my wii is currently on 4.3e and i was gonna buy a drivekey for it but i wasn't sure if it would work on 4.3.
do they?

Luigi is right, don't bother with a modchip. You can do almost everything that a modchip can do better with a softmod. Only exception is SOME instances with gamecubes games but thats only a very select few.

ive tried everything and it won't work and ive been planning on getting a drivekey for a while now

I would just spend the money on a External HDD or Memory stick and load from USB.

If your Wii doesn't load backup discs with NeoGamma + d2x56v6, then it won't read them either with a chip that is just plugged between drive and Wii. In this case you need a real modchip(if there at all for those drives) or a new(old) drive.

It won't play out-of-region games since you have 4.2+ (you could downgrade to 4.1 without losing features though), but assuming your Wii is old enough to play backup discs, it will work.

Still, USB is way better than backup discs.
