I've have been hit in the recent ban wave. I know that the eshop has not been restricted, but pretty much everything lse has been. My question is whether or not CFW cia's are restricted from online access as well. Are things suchs as CIAngel and Freeshop blocked, as well as things like Lumaupdater blocked from downloading the latest update. I'm keeping my wireless turned off for now, and don't want to check this out myself. If anyone has tried and knows could you please let me know? Thanks. :)

Thanks for the incredibly quick reply. :) This is interesting to know. Is there any way for updates to CFW to undo the ban or re allow access to online features? Hopefully yes, but my guess would be no, because my assumption is that the info about you being banned is kept on Nintendo's servers and not your system.

No, the only way is to inject a LocalFriendCode_B

Agreed with this.
This made people who wanted to stay at CFW not dare to use official services, no matter whether the apps/games to access official services were legit or not.

I'm actually quite intrigued about this, if I region change my console and create a new NNID (possible since I've done it before) and backup my LocalFriendCode_B file from that region changed sysNAND and revert back to an original copy with my original NNID if I can revert the ban.

?

TL;DR version

Unbanned console
Backup sysNAND
Unlink NNID and region change
Create new NNID on region changed sysNAND
Extract LocalFriendCode_B from region changed sysNAND now with new NNID
Restore original backup of sysNAND and relink old NNID
If banned, inject the LocalFriendCode_B file got from the region changed sysNAND

Woah, nice, you should make a thread of this

LocalFriendCodeSeed_B is static and doesn't change. The only way to get a new one is to get it from another console. The only exception is that performing a system transfer would put the source system's LFCS into the movable.sed, at least until the next time you format/go through initial setup. That's still not a new LFCS, but obviously could be one from a system you no longer have.
