Delete data from the host console like gamesaves/fake cias or does it leave them on the host and only impacts the target? Thank you guys,PS I already googled.

I think you can maybe get around it, if you spoof your firmware, so that the console doesn't update. then after it finishes restore your SD card (SD gets wiped of all files associated with the console) and a NAND backup using the gateway menu. You'll end up with 2 identical consoles, which is bad. so if you attempt this and it works, don't go online with the original or you'll get a ban. I wouldn't recommend trying it, because its stupid, and i just made this process up, but it could work.
