Hacking does startpatch work with 4.0? becuase it doesen't work on mine:(

Every time i start to try to run the app it starts up turns to a black screen and says error then it restarts the wii or homebrew channel
do i need a certain startpatch app for 4.0?

StartPatch v4.0.4U all the info is on wiibrew with all the different versions for different regions
