Homebrew Does Spider3DS work on 9.5?

Title. my friend updated and wants to know if spider still works.

That depends on what you want to do with it. firmlaunchhax was patched in 9.3+, so you can't use it to exploit the Arm9 anymore. (at least with the currently known exploit. There may be another one that yellows8/that other guy that has a name that starts with an M but can't spell right now. Don't bother asking them, they probably never plan to release it)

So things like Gateway/other Arm9 homebrew won't work on 9.3 or above.

For things like ram dumping/injecting into ram of currently running program, that still works on 9.5.

Doesn't spider3DStools work with ARM11, and the OTHER release work with ARM9? :|

Oh. Yifun's Cubic Ninja port? Not sure about that. Cubic Ninja exploit doesn't work in 9.3 or above either. memchunkhax I think was patched, so the "browser" version of Ninjhax won't work in 9.3 or above either.

No, no, no, we are communicating very horrible right now. Oh, gods, help. By spider3DStools, I meant the tools he released for things such as the memory dump, not his boot.3DSX loader named 'SpiderNinja.'

If his tools don't use Arm9, then yes, they should still work.

Yes, I believe Yifan's tools use ARM11, and the tools from Roxas use ARM9. It is very well possible that DarkFlare simply meant to ask if spiderhax was still possible, and we went a bit more in depth.
