I know it's probably not noticeable in normal games, which just loads a room separately, but what about games like GTA CW? Where it's constantly loading would it be affected by the R4? i.e. loading not as fast as a normal cart?

Also, my Contra 32mb takes a while to load up on the R4 menu, whereas other 128mb games load quickly, what's the reason for this?

once the gaming is running, loading times between a flashkart and an actual game are almost identical, as long as u don't have a no name microsd card.

I was playing Mario Kart and noticed the game would sometimes lag (mostly with explosions) compared to using the normal game cartridge.

Do you have a clone by chance?
My real R4 doesn't have any issues with loading up or playing games.
Was actually playing Mario Kart online not too long ago.
