Does Mirc Hate me?

ok here´s the deal:
I downloaded Mirc
I installed Mirc
When I click on the Mirc icon...nothing happens

can anybody help me before I go on a violent rampage?

hmmm......just remove it and start over again...and check the irc tutorial shown here on the site....

If 1 doesn't work, try 2 and if theat doesn't work try 3... and so on...
1 reinstall the mirc
2 redownload mirc, the file might be corrupted
3 double click the icon
4 click in the icon in the folder itself not the shortcut
5 see if your computer isn't TOO DARN SLOW, and it takes ages for it to start up, thats what happens in my school's computer
6 blow up the computer and kill yourself

Regular mIRC sometimes has that problem thats why I use Excursion.

Excursion

Give that a try its Mirc but just with more bells and whistles.
You shouldnt have any problem with it. if you do than it has to be your computer. probably OS messing it up
