Guys!!i want to ask a few question before buying myself an R4..
1)Is DSVideo works/compatible with R4?
2)Is Licks Media Player(LMP) works/compatible with R4?
3)Is ComicBookDS works/compatible with R4?
Hope to see some reply from you guys.. I'm just new here..thanks

Don't buy an R4. It will either be a cheap clone, outdated or both. There are much better cards available for similar prices.

Giving him/her an example would have been nice...

I have an R4 at the moment, am personally looking at the AceKard 2i - just trying to find a "safe" enough seller.

To answer the original question: The homebrew you mention seems to work on mine.

These are not compatible with R4. DS iplayer could support.
from what i know they should work, also, don't try to make yourself look cool by buying an R4 in the Philippines....

Does R4 is compatible with all these functions?

I own an R4 (original thankfully) and apart from suggesting a different cart (Acekards are pretty cheap and a heck of a lot better), I can say that both DSVideo and Comicbook DS work perfectly on the R4. I can't say anything about LMP because I never used it (Moonshell user).

It's impossible to say because each fake R4 has different homebrew compatibility. One of them might do DSVideo and LMP but not CBDS, another might do LMP but not the other two. Some of them will not run any of them.

But you can be certain that an AceKard 2i will run them.

I have real R4 and I can confirm that LMP(lick media player) works good.
And R4 isn't good cart. It's cheap but not good cart.
My friend has an Acekard 2 and it's nice 'cause all games works.
