Homebrew Question Does holding R while opening a game no longer launch hbmenu?

I've redone things multiple times, but have never been able to launch hbmenu from the main screen by holding R while launching a game.

No problems using the gallery app, but I have seen mention of limitations when doing it that way.

Are you using Atmosphere or SX OS? It doesn't work with some other CFWs.

Are you sure you're not holding ZR instead of R?

Atmosphere. I have tried holding every key possible, each time it only tries to launch the game.

maybe its dumb but, did you checked the .nro file? if it is on right place etc?

Actually just figured it out - never saw it mentioned anywhere, but if you have multiple users you have the hold R when selecting the user, not launching the game. Been trying for a week and it was that simple.

Don't need the second user anymore, but of course I can't even delete that without getting hit with an error 2155-8007

It works just fine for me, do a clean installation of Atmosphere and tell us again
