Hacking Does Dstt work on a 2ds for ntrboot?

Hello everyone. I just got my dstt flashcard I ordered in today and I was trying to get ntrboot running on my 11.6.39 2ds. But when I put the kernel onto my card and I put it in it said there isn't anything inserted into the slot. So I'm assuming I'm a complete idiot and I'm not doing something correctly. Can anyone help?

as you can see on the list of flashcarts here, some of them work, but the car t can not run on an unmodified 3ds, you need either a modded system or a DS to flash ntrboot on it.
