Alright here's the case... So you know how in the Japanese Pokemon games there's a 5 character limit right? Well, for my translation, I'd like to change that character limit to 10 characters. From the looks at it, the English Platinum and the Japanese Soul Silver have very similar "Naming" codes, but I don't know where I'd start.
Now I know of a little thing called Assembly hacking, but is that the right direction to go in?
