Does anyone here use AtlasOS?

I was curious if anyone could recommend me a custom Windows OS. I do my research, but there is a lot of hearsay with custom OS's. I know the great, the bad, and the ugly points of view, but I wanted to seeif anyone uses a custom Widnows OS that they recommend. Thanks in advance!

On one of my laptops, I just use Linux mint. With VirtualBox with Windows.

Make a few VirtualBox machines with different setups. For example.

• Windows 11. Stock as possible.
• Windows 11. Trimmed down.
• Windows 10. Kinda stock.

I wouldn't use custom Windows OS for daily use. I mean AtlasOS disables updates and system restore, I have one laptop which is stock Windows 11. If I really need windows.

Tiny11 with the Tiny11 builder. Yes the option of Linux is there but Linux is a completely new OS enviornment (similar to MacOS) and the move to it is simpler than such, compatability with some of your favorite Windows apps have to be done via a translation layer, and may not guarantee full compatability. It's been largely improving over these years, but that still doesn't stop it from being the best.

I am currently on Atlas OS. I just build my new PC and in BF6 i get random glitches of FPS. After I really noticed that I just tried Atlas and I never went back

I'm intrigued by this. As much as I've gelled with Ubuntu, I wonder if AtlasOS might be a good compromise. I noticed that the office site says it minimizes the telemetry, but it doesn't claim to eliminate it completely. What does that leave, in regards to data sharing?
