I'm thinking of getting a PS2 to HDMI adapter from Amazon or Ebay. I have a 1080p HDMI monitor, and I wanted to play my PS2 in 720p or 1080i using the OPL GSM build.
My only question is: do the adapters listed on Amazon and Ebay have support for these video modes? Because everywhere I check it says they support 576i/480i/480p, but don't advertise support for other resolutions.

Here's an example of the adapter I'm referring to:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/SODIAL-HDV...F8&qid=1550268986&sr=8-8&keywords=ps2+to+hdmi

Does anyone know of an adapter that supports all the PS2's video modes (that ship to the UK)? I don't want to have to get the more expensive component to HDMI converter.

You kinda answered it yourself: the target audience of these cheap dedicated converters is people who went all in on a display (probably chosen on the basis of "most megapixels") and don't have the right inputs, rather than being a comprehensive video conversion tool; and given that only 5 games officially support other scan rates (with the most famous, GT4, being upscaled in the first place...)

Depending on your console's model, you could probably mod it for VGA output, and use a cheap VGA to HDMI converter (though I can't vouch on their reliability/input compatibility/lag, and you would still be limited by GSM's compatibility)
