Homebrew Does 3ds have ir blaster?

it has ir but not a 'blaster' - i think i read it's very low power and won't reach far.
and as the person above says, yeah maybe it's a different protoctol, but i thought ir was ir and if you make it blink at the right speed you can do what you want... i'm not sure :)
different wavelengths maybe?

The problem is that the IR driver does not support sending raw data (but it can receive it, according to the dev tool?) so it would imply an arm9 homebrew that does everything by itself... and yeah, the range sucks
