I finished it the other day but didn't like it. The game doesn't do anything wrong but it didn't feel fun to play either. I'm not a fan of turn-based RPGs and never played it back in its day.

It's fine, but I play it like Pokemon Diamond (as in Telefang) - was super cool when I was a kid but couldn't get far, now I'm enjoying it more but a couple days a season (that's when I bother with games nowadays) :P

I've heard of the infamous Telefang bootleg so I know whatcha talking about. :P

Mario and Luigi Partners in Time and Pokémon Black are one of my favourite RPGs for the DS so far.

I get you, I don't play turn based RPGs generally either. I haven't ever played the original but might try out the remake just for curiosity's sake. I played some of the newest Paper Mario and enjoyed the story and exploration but got fed up of the stupid battles.

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
