Yes, you can use partition manager's program such as EASUS, or Acronis, to do the conversion.
ATTENTION, be sure to select "convert" not "format" to 32k cluster.

It has no problem on other usage of your drive. It will work fine with everything else (storage or program).

Hmmm all i did was bring the cluster menu up, set it to 32 and it did its thing but i cant see it as a drive anymore on the comp...

^ NM it still wanted to confirm so I let it do its thing and it came up again as a drive under My Comp....Thanks bro ill try it now

Ok so I know my backup needs to go in the root of the drive, in a folder called games, and then in a folder of the title ID of the game, and then the game goes in there as the name "game"....Do i need to use a special or certain tool to convert them as I have seen and read about 3 tools or so>...Im wondering if it can be an unmodified iso or is it supposed o be run through one of the utilities such as DM Toolbox that comes with DIOS MIOS 2.6... Thanks again for all this help, also I have every GC game i own backed up from when i originally got Phantasy star online, a BBA for the GC and thats why I was wondering if they should be unmodified or run through a utility....Sorry for all the questions if you get a min please hit me up.

I could have run all my backups on Dolphin but I just enjoy them with like zero hiccups, without wacked out sounds or laggy and wiggy emulation with 1 million settings to choose from and 1 billion versions that all emulate something about the game differently. Plus I like to not use my disc and just USB them to conserve them and keep them on display. I know the resolution is better etc with dolphin but i rather sit on the couch and play them 100% like the real thing for now and not worry to scratch them etc.....Thanks again! (=

I can't get it to work at all. I always get "Fatal error! apploader size is zero!" when there's no disc in the drive, and when there is, it just loads up the disc instead. I've tried different loaders, different ripping methods, compressed/uncompressed, nothing works.

I'm pretty sure I'm doing this right. I have all my GCN games in sd:\games\, each as "game.iso" in their own folder. I'm using USBLoader GX r1204 (though I've tried WiiFlow 4.0.4 which had the same error) and DML 2.5. I'm also using CleanRip 1.0.5 to make the initial ISO and then converting it with DMToolbox. USBLoader GX detects DML 2.5 on the credits screen.

I'm at an absolute loss here. Please help? :<
