All my DLC disappears when I update a game or access the Eshop. Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

Did you install the DLC before the update?

Of course it will disappear. and the last dlc is with 1.1.4 update

It should not disappear for a long time. (I did it with the O3DS and today it disappeared but I did it again and it's good again)

I installed a different game and all my smash dlc disappeared. If I access the eshop all my smash dlc disappears and this is for every game.

Even if I install offline, if I have to access any nintendo system all my dlc for every game gets deleted. It's rather annoying. :(

Why am I the only one who doesn't have this issue? Or is it that it deletes DLC relative to the game you update? I've updated games tons and all my DLC still remains. Even my custom theme doesn't disappear. Which I've heard it can.

my custom theme remains. I don't know about other games but my smash dlc and mii plaza 6 games dlc disappears anytime I access eshop, look at dlc purchases in any game or update a game. It appears as though all my Final Fantasy Theatrythm dlc remains though.

It only deletes DLC for the game if you own legit DLC for it.

For example, I own Mewtwo on Smash Bros. Each time I access the eShop or in-game store, all my non-legit DLC (for that game) is removed. The same is not said for FF Curtain Call, I don't own legit DLC for that game, so non-legit DLC for it isn't removed.

I don't own any dlc for smash, neither anything for the mii plaza.

I don't even touch Eshop at all.

(Maybe that's why is eternal, but if I install the DLC CIAS online, it will disappear on the next time you want to play)

Makes sense. So I could just delete my mewtwo DLC from the eshop and install it via cia? Or would it still happen because I own it?

except it doesn't work cause I don't own any smash DLC at all and my dlc still gets deleted.

Must be something off then.

I remember a thread similar to this a few weeks ago, we did some testing and came to the conclusion:
Upon entering eShop with NNID:
1. Legit game, no purchased DLCs: CIA DLC kept
2. Legit game, any purchased DLC: CIA DLC removed
3. CIA game, no purchased DLC: CIA DLC kept
4. CIA game, any purchased DLC: CIA DLC removed (thanks Supster131 for testing!)
