    is there any divx media player for the wii atm ?
    if so , does it read subtitles ?

    Mplayer for wii plays xvid, I think it will display subtitles

    correct me if im wrong, but i think mplayer will read Xvid (and other formats...) but only burned to DVD (not cd) media and only if you have a system with a mod chip to read writeable discs.... (just my 2 cents).



    i hope they make it possible to play xvid and similar formats streamed from SD card.

    is the font fixed in geexbox , or can you install your own (change codepage to hebrew)

    Mplayer already plays xvid and similar files from SD.

    Actually, MPlayer can play videos from burnt discs without a modchip just fine.

    All modchips do is fool the drive into thinking it's a real game, the drive can read burnt discs just fine either way. AFAIK
