I may just have to get Tuning and play it...but this also means they will have to put a villain for FFXIII. Wonder who they will choose...?

So like, will that be downloadable content or just a full other release?
Dissidia: Final Fantasy Tuning is the US version of Dissidia's tweaks being released internationally so this is basically a Final Mix. So yes, its a full release. Came out today in Japan.

I Wiki it, and it said it's out tomorrow in Japan. But we all know Wiki ALWAYS tells the truth

On August 24, 2009, it was announced that there will be an international version of the game. Named Dissidia Final Fantasy: Universal Tuning, this revision of the game will be a direct port of the North American version of the game, retaining all the extra features added, and will be released in Japan on November 1, 2009. Audio will be in English, with Japanese text and subtitles.[26] The game will also include Lightning, protagonist of Final Fantasy XIII, as a playable character.

I'm sick of Square's "international" garbage. We've missed out on FFX International, XII International, KH Final Mix, and KH2 Final Mix+. This is just getting ridiculous.

You guys want to make sure the world is given extra care for having to wait half a year longer for a game by giving us goodies? Okay sure. Oh wait then you're just going to give the Japanese version even more, alright. Uh huh. And leave us out, because then it'd just be an infinite cycle.

Here's an idea - Release them worldwide at the exact same time so this shit doesn't keep happening!
I mean with this it's just one character tops, not the end of the world, but we missed out in KH2 Final Mix+ and I do not need to go on with all the major additions to that game that blows our version out of the water. You guys are already doing it with FFXIII as far as I know, do it with everything else.

Don't really need this since I already own Dissidia anyway, it will be a waste of the yen remaining in my wallet.

Maybe stores will do a trade in offer?
Since this is the third one out in Japan

thumbs for 2€and a tempered screen for 4€
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
Locally I can get a tempered screen for 8 and 3 sets of sticks for 5€
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
    Case is 10€
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
With the discount the store has it ends up everything for 20€ so it's roughly 8€dif

Been trying, semi unsuccessfully, to figure out a TV "streaming dongle" sort of thing that has enough beans to handle Steam Remote Play. The "Chromecast with Google TV 4k" devices that I have introduce so much video latency it's crazy. And I've had no luck finding a good setup with an rPi yet
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Used to think the video latency issue was because it was on wifi, but nope, same shit even after moving them to ethernet

@Sicklyboy have you tried the xiaomi ones? I have a 4 year old one that managed to work just fine (tested once for fun).
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@Skelletonike, nope, not yet. only tried a LineageOS Android TV build and raspbian (with Plasma Big Screen which I can't get to work) on a pi4. Was thinking about running over to walmart today and seeing if they had their "Onn" brand Android streaming box in stock. Heard good things about those
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or a 4k firestick, I have several n they work great (mostly stream kodi from NAS drive) n they cheap. $25-50
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I've had such crappy experiences with fire sticks that I don't want anything to do with them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
The old ones were crappy/ slow ui/ weak WiFi but new gen better, at least for me.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
But I have seen people liking those ONN stream boxes, and they come w no bloatware which is nice. (firesticks has tons of bloat)
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I also use PiHole on my network which blocks most that crap, I definitely noticed all my smart stuff seems to work better after setting up PiHole

Only experience Ive had was with the xiaomi one and with the one supplied by my internet supplier.
