Oh, so Gabranth gets the special treatment as the only villain who has a story mode?

Well, I'm not 100% sure, but I think both him and Shantotto get their own story since they are the only representatives for each game.

Oh, so Gabranth gets the special treatment as the only villain who has a story mode?

Not exactly. You play the "story" with ANY character you've unlocked, and then at the end you face Gabranth himself. It's not really a story. Kinda like getting summons in early FF's, they're side quests, not exactly much to call them stories, but you get new summons.

I'm doing Distant Glory right now for Shantotto, so I'll see how it goes.

How do I access the replay menu

Complete two storylines, then replay mode unlocks.

Yes, I completed 5 storymodes, and can save replays, however I do not know how to get to teh menu to convert

Second option of the bottom four, and the last one in that menu, then out of the three in the sub-menu, the last one, then it will give you three options. Low, Med, and High Quality(in respective order

Ugh, anyone know a good way of leveling to 100 quickly? I tried doing the thing with Exdeath where you fight a LV100 Exdeath on your 'favorite day' after buying all the Calendar add-ons, but for whatever reason, that doesn't do it for me. For example, when my LV 18 Bartz fights a LV100 Exdeath, even after doing 3-5 HP attacks and collecting all the orbs, I still don't get a single level up :\

I have both Shanotto and Gabranth, I have for a few days now.
Shanotto...is odd. She's tiny. She's fast. I can't quite figure out her range. But I wrecked my friend's Level 8 when she was only level 1. I made a video of that like two days ago. Here:

Gabranth I don't like. Outside of EX Mode he has no HP attack, has poor range and is slow. His HP Attack is to charge his EX Gauge. When he's actually in EX Mode he's fast, an entirely new moveset, and he's pretty deadly. The problem is the EX Gauge doesn't last very long, so he's right back where he begins.

And about the leveling, the ExDeath thing is considered the most widely accepted leveling trick. But seriously, when I say the Versus Mode is crazy for level ups I'm not joking. Also just play the Colosseum Mode if you have it unlocked, I've played with Golbez from 4 to 40 on that mode in just a few hours.

Also I'm curious. Anyone heard of this Command Mode ahead of time? I found it when snooping around options.

lol i got my Cloud to lvl100 by using the Exdeath thingo xD. any finish Inward Chaos? its impossible for me TT_TT lvl 105 dudes >.>

ExDeath also has to be a level 9 difficulty CPU. To change this, when you're about to select a level (and there's 4 options to choose), the option right under the level select one is the difficulty. Put that to 9/9 and you should start leveling faster. If not, idk?

Alright, since people were complaining for posting codes for the game in the User Submitted, I'm going to post them here. Square Enix gave out the second and third passwords to unlock more content for Dissidia Final Fantasy today. “PASS3SU433KA” for a new Friend Card of Behemoth and “33MKERDTA2AK” for Aries Recipe. Both are the recipe that allows you to make “Miracle Shoes”. How to use them:

1. Communication Mode (通信モード)
2. Friend Cards Setting (フレンドカード設定)
3. Edit Message (メッセージ編集)
4. Clear all the text and enter “PASS3CH3GC45″ with the hankaku character set (the fourth set if you press the select button)
5. Exit Friend Cards Setting
6. Offline Lobby (オフラインロビー)
7. You’ll find Yuffie’s Friend Card

That code in step 4 is for the first one, which is a snowboard which in order to get, you need to beat ghost data of a lvl 45 Cloud.

Yeah that's most likely why, I don't get any lag whatsoever.

or some other menu that is unlocked ?
