Hacking Disk Loader 0.3 gamma, Channel?

I have wii backup loader 0.3 gamma and i have got it to work but whenever i want to use it i have to go into the homebrew channel and select the application of my sd card. on youtube i saw that there was a backup loader which is a whole seperate channel which looks a little like the wii disk loader but a bit different. Which backup loader is this and are there any requirmnets for installing it. Also is there a way to get my backup loader gamma as a channel on the wii system menu rather than an application through the homebrew channel?
