Depends on the version/region, think it has to be the same CUSA. Then again it make no sense to install Disc game since it still take space on the HDD.

I know that when it comes to legit games a retail disc save works on digital if it's under the same account. So I don't see why you can't install the pkg and still get the save to work.

you can't. fake signed games are decrypted. your save will still be encrypted, so it won't work.

Afaik no the fake version of the game wont work with the saves from the disc version, I hink @godreborn tested this out... I could be totally wrong...

Same CUSA + same retail/fake install = save exchangeable by default.
Different CUSA + same retail/fake install = Some games allow in-game converting, but not standard feature by Sony.
Different retail/fake install = Nope (for now).

Well, it's related to the different passcode used between official an fake signed packages but yeah, the end result is what you wrote: no can do.
