does the disc channel itself have a title id like the rest of the channels?
if so what is it?

It might since it can have channel location, but I believe it is built into the SM and can not ever be removed without disassembling the SM. I'm sure I am far off from the truth of it, but that is my best guess.

Afaik the disc channel isn't a title, so it probably doesn't have a title ID.

There should be a way to "launch" it though I guess. (Don't ask me how)

+1, u are correct in that the disc channel is embedded into the system menu. I remember hearing that a long time ago when ppl were trying to make a backup disc loader channel that looks exactly like the disc channel. So I don't think it will have a title ID either (but I can't say that with 100% certainty).

There is actually a file that stores where all the channels are located which is:

/title/00000001/00000002/data/iplsave.bin

I found that out by opening it with notepad ,moving the mii channel, closing it and opening it, and it moved.

Looking in there, i found out the first channel, RIPL, is most likely the Disc channel.

What i'm going to do with that now is move the disc channel.

Orrrr since it's 7 years later, just use the system menu hack in priiloader to move it?

ok first it was actually iplsave.bin not ipslave.bin

I cant really get priiloader because i use Dolphin, ok?

Also it didn't work anyway. It moved back everything to it's default place. Even the mii channel.

edit #1:

Experimenting around, i ran this piece of code and....
expirements lvl. 420.PNG

--Facts on iplsave.bin--

1:
After pressing A on the health screen the Wii tries to load iplsave.bin.
That piece of code i ran deleted iplsave.bin as soon it was regenerated. Details shown above.
