I'm wondering what I could do to possibly fix this. When I put a disc in, you can hear it spinning, then there's some clicking noises, then it stops and repeats itself. When it stops, if I'm on the disc channel, it briefly says "Please insert a disc", as if nothing was in it, before starting the cycle again. It never manages to actually read the disc at all.

If I load it up in Neogamma, it works perfectly. Any and all games work without any problems. What could make my Disc Channel not work, when the drive is completely functional?

Ok, my problem is now solved. I have a WiiKey2 modchip, which was the cause of my problems. While messing with it, i discovered that Gamecube discs (burned or original) worked just fine, it was only Wii discs that didn't. I removed the modchip and now it my original games work from the disc channel again. Somehow my modchip doesn't function properly anymore (it used to work just fine).
