Hey all,

I have a 1000 Vita on 3.65 running enso. I would like to be able to remote play with my PS4 over the internet. I know I can remove enso and update to latest off but can I later run h-encore if I want my homebrew back? Is "dual boot" a possibility?

As a side note I also have a pstv on 3.65 that is also enso so if you have a better suggestion I'm open to them.

Does version spoofing to 3.70 not work anymore?

I assume it does but has anyone tested that with remote play over internet? I'd rather avoid getting my main account banned (yes I know homebrew always has that risk), but if someone had had success with spoofing then I'll just do that.

I guess you could use a separate account, if you're afraid... but nobody was ever banned as a direct consequence of going online with a modded Vita (that would imply admitting Sony had a part in making that console :P )

You raise a valid point lol. I guess I was more fearful for my PS4.

I suppose I could try using moonlight to stream my computer that can link to my PS4 locally...

On an unrelated but sorta related note, using my Vita to remote to my PS3 over the internet...

I got the games running locally, but when I attempt to remote start over the internet the PS3 will turn on but not automatically connect/launch remote play. PS3 is on Rebug 4.84.2 REX. If anyone can help me troubleshoot this I think I'd be all set.

Haven't used remote play on my ps3 in quite a while but if i recall correctly i think when you click remote play icon on ps3 you have to leave it there for it to be able to connect through the internet it doesn't automatically launch it, at least that's what i remember.

Thanks for the reply man. I figured out that if you launch remote play on the PS3, then press the power button on the console to put it in standby you can turn the console on over the internet from the Vita and it will sign in and relaunch remote play automatically.

Would've been nice if $ony had documented that in their documentation somewhere.

Epicness! That's great to know!
