idk if I should post this here or not but in DM 2.9 Pokemon XD : Gale of Darkness(US) same results - endless music loop after first cutscene.

Edit: After going back to the living room from typing this, I let it still run and surprise! It works! The virtual battle is there!(let it run 1-3min after first cutscene) I hope DM 2.9 did not break Colosseum...

Edit2: Yes Pokemon Colosseum works in 2.9 too!

I can confirm disc loading not working right for tales of symphonia on 2.9 everything else seems to work amazingly well tho :D this is awesome

This is a minor issue, and I'm unsure if its been addressed before or not. But when I boot gamecube games via Dios Mios (I use cfg usb loader to do so), be it wide screen or not, the entire image is off centered a bit to the right. In the wii settings I made sure that the screen is properly centered (doesn't appear off centered in the GUI or Wii games, homebrew etc.). Is this an issue for anyone else? Or am I just missing something. Its not a huge deal because if I don't do widescreen, while the image is shifted a bit to the right, because there is extra space on my HDTV, theres still a slight smaller sliver of black on the right side (what I'm saying is the image isn't cut off, just off centered). Not the worst thing in the world, but if this could be fixed I would really like that. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Hi all! I 'd like to ask something. If i want to play the latter half of a 2 disc game, could i still load the second disc with DM 2.0 and continue from there (savegame provided, of course)? This concerns only a really small handful of games so it's not trivial to me, just wondering. Btw before you ask, i still use 2.0 as it is working just fine for me, bar 4 games (007 EoN, GUN, XGRA, Smuggler's Run and music in Ikaruga, 1080 and Alien Hominid).

Sonictopfan PMed to me: It'll probably be released for public soon as it says "DM 3.0"

LOL, that reminds me of a Chinese hacked version of cfg_loader which named itself v71.
These hackers just show no respect to the developers and GNU licenses

All my gamecube games have a small black bar on both sides whether in widescreen or not and this is true of both retail games as well as from the HDD even if it's with Devolution. I think there's some slight difference in video format used by GC games. All Wii stuff is fine for me, too, excet for ONE game I discovered a week or so ago, Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix. I'm betting you're just seeing the WHOLE image to the right when it's not centered it's just because that smaller image just has it's own little black bar on both sides. The one on the left you don't notice because it just blends in with the bigger black bar that the TV already put on that side.

If said game has a save feature before swapping discs then yes it can work, I played TMNT2 fully before using DML 1.5

This is not a hack this is a pre-release, there's a difference.

I'm glad my TV is not HDD, it may be hard for me to play PS3 and Xbox 360 games (some games have an option for 4:3 TVs but most of them just stay in wide screen and zoom out making it hard to see what's going on) but at least all my Wii and GC games run fine!

sonicfan has been known to test new versions for Crediar in the past. I see no reason why not to believe him in this case, too.

I would be careful with who it get's PM'd to, though. We don't want another Quadforce incident again.

sonictopfan, do you have Crediar's permission to leak the pre-release? If so, this is a non-issue.

IF both cases are TRUE then my bad, sorry

Speaking of that widescreen fix for Wind Waker, i wonder if a similar approach could be done for the Resident Evil games. When the patch is applied the character model and items are off alignment with the backgrounds.

Any alternative download links for DML 2.9? uploaded.net keeps giving me an error

EDIT: Tried about 3 hours later and it downloaded.

Yeah I could see that working. I'll have to try it out later this week. I still don't understand why extrems' improved widescreen hasn't been implimented yet. Doesn't sound like it would be hard to just change it. However this is still amazing that we have the ability to run gamecube games off a USB hard drive, I guess I can't camplain .

Good point, I will not send any mods from now on just so we all be on the safe side, in any case it will probably be released soon anyway since it's just a minor fix and it fixes both swap disc and phantasy star online!
