So I get a black screen then the signal goes out on my screen when I try Zelda: Collector's Edition. Worked fine on DML. Does not work on Dios Mios Booter.

Am I assuming I'm not the only one with the problem or do I just suck? :D

Didn't realize I needed to have a game disc inside the Wii for it to work. That solves that!

My Wii is PAL and Most of my GC games are PAL with the exception of a few, why? Does that matter
I've gone back to DML 1.4 for the time being everything works again so I don't know what happened
also, BCv6? I dont remmeber hearing about that :/.....where do I get it in ModMii
If the games were NTSC you might get a black screen if the video mode wasn't configured right but that would be AFTER the splash screen so just ignore that comment, sorry.
If DML 1.4 works fine then you already have your BC at v6.

I'm guessing it's just the type of USB hard drive connection it has that DM isn't compatible with yet.
I'd assume your hard drive only has one partition on it. DM needs it to be the first/only partition to work.
The only other thing I can think of is if it has an extended partition instead of a primary partition but I really doubt that.

How can I fiund out what is the deal with the partitions?

Guys I'm having some trouble. I just installed the new DIOS MIOS V2.0 and now whenever I launch a game I just get a black screen. Even games that worked before stopped working. And now I don't know how to go back to the previous version. Please help.

Dealing with the same problem just reinstall the DiosMiosLite Wad and it should be fine

To go back to previous version , just install your old wad.

yes, though some games can be run without converting.

even without converting? awesome! o-o

though some reason i cant get neogamma to load it up, do i need a new version or r9 b56 supposed to work fine?

For testing purposes I attached the Wii to a TV which supports progressive scan.

Now I can see that Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is hard-locking the Wii on the DIOS MIOS logo screen. I've tried a variety of options, including forcing 480i, and it makes no difference (game is NTSC-US and runs fine from disc).

All other games are working correctly and do not require a disc; Zelda Ocarina Master Quest requires a disc in the drive to load.

Burnout 2 - Working
F-Zero GX - Working
Mario Kart: Double Dash!! - Working
Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader - Working
Super Monkey Ball 2 - Working
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - Working
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest - Working (requires disc in drive)

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes - Fails at DM logo screen

Wiiflow r506 is loading GC games through DIOS MIOS, but seems to have developed issues with Wii games - sometimes they load, while other times they fail with a black screen.

I was playing windwaker with dm 2.0 and had some company come over so i let the game sit for about 10 minutes with no play. After resuming game play i got the " An error has occurred please turn off the gamecube console and refer to the owners manual message'

I have seen other people post saying that its happened to them as well.

Anyone else getting this after leaving games sit for awhile?

Also note after this happened i restarted the wii and then played the game again and it played fine past the point where it gave the error the first time. So i would say its safe to assume that its a hard drive spin down issue.

The hard drive works fine and i have never had this issue happen with any wii game.

I have similar issues with games that don't need to pull data from the HDD for a while. Not sure if my HDD is idleing and then DIOS MIOS cant get it to start again. Next time it does it I will check to see if the thing has spun down. Really annoying though as it breaks Super Mario Sunshine for my lad. Guess I will have to stick to running of of a disk for now.
