NMM with Sneek+DI seems to have more compatibility. I was testing F-Zero GX with the new DIOS MIOS rev and it saves fine everything.. save data, replays, ghosts.. I need to test more and see if anything gets corrupted

Can't get it to work for me, it's completely breaking gamecube playback.

Wii is on 4.1E

Installed the wad like I would any other, but cannot get it to work.

Dios mios booter. Does not see the games at all, only have the option for boot dvd.
Usb loader GX, sees the games, but asks to copy to SD
Completely breaks gamecube playback. Wii is chipped, trying to launch either and original or copied cube game, they show in disc channel, black screen when booted with a single flash of the dvd light. Component or RGB scart the same results. Reinstall Rvl-mios v10, gamecube games work fine from disc channel.

Did you push the + button on the wii remote while inisde DM booter channel? It changes the source to look at.

I only played the games long enough to see if they didn't freeze, so I don't know if there are audio problems or what, but here's my tests so far:

Working
Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg
Chibi-Robo!
Cubivore
Custom Robo
Gauntlet Dark Legacy
Geist
The Legend of Zelda - Collector's Edition
The Legend of Zelda - Wind Waker [DiscEx for map fix]
Lost Kingdoms
Lost Kingdoms II [scrubbed]
Luigi's Mansion
Mario Kart Double Dash
Mario Party 4
Mario Party 5
Mario Party 6
Mario Party 7 [scrubbed]
P.N.03
Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Viewtiful Joe 2
WarioWare, Inc. Mega Party Game$! [scrubbed]

Working with glitches
Eternal Darkness - resetting correctly doesn't work, or I've either missed that option.
Super Mario Sunshine - When I set "GC Force Interlace" to on, the green bar at the bottom disappeared.

Non-working games
Lost Kingdoms when it is scrubbed
MegaMan Anniversary Collection - just comes up with a white screen and a fatal error.

Also, I use USB Loader GX and these are all NTSC-U titles.

wait. will a fat32 partition with 64kb clusters work?

read the very first post, 32kb only

still just getting a black screen here using fix94's r22 booter with my toshiba drive, bummer

what is your hard drive model? is it usb 3.0?

usb 2.0, Toshiba hddr500e03x, bummertown that it doesnt work

hi dr brule. i love your show. please make a season 3, ya dingus

I have a question about formatting:
I have a 3TB WD HDD, formatted into NTFS for Wii backups. Using CFG. I would also like to use it for various other things that are larger than 4GBs(movies, ect.). Could I format a new partition into fat32, and have both partitions on the drive? Also could I keep the wii backups in the NTFS partition? One last thing, will NTFS support ever be supported, or should I just think of DIOS MIOS as fat32 only?

No, NTFS takes up a lot of memory, and during Gamecube mode, there is only 96kb of RAM to work with for the FAT32 partition.

I really wish people would stop asking about NTFS/WBFS support on DM(L)

Alright, so NTFS is not going to be an option in the near future, if ever. If I make a second partition as FAT32, and remove the games off the NTFS partition, will it still work? Also, would I be able to leave my Wii backups on my NTFS partition and everything work like normal?

I'm having much more luck with rev1 of DM, seems like almost everything is working. Rev2 was giving me blackscreens for most games and the green bar on Mario Sunhine.

try v2 and turn gc interlace option to on for the games that black screen and it fixes mario sunshine green bar

Same here, rev2 gives me a black screen on Wind Waker before DIOS MIOS splashscreen, but rev1 works fine...
Using component cables + progressive scan.
Tested using real nand, didn't test it on uneek2o yet,

As mentioned above, DIOS MIOS faces a tight memory constraint, so NTFS support is very unlikely. As for adding another FAT32 partition to your NTFS drive, it should work, as long as the cluster size is 32k or less. All the major USB loaders will still load Wii games from the NTFS partition, so there's no need to remove it.

Has anything been said about support for larger cluster sizes? Literally minutes ago formatted my 500 GB HDD to 64k clusters, don't feel like doing that again. :P

Edit: BALLS. finally found it earlier in the thread. PARAGON HERE I COME.

You mean force interlaced video? I'm using the component cable and progressive scan mode so that's not really a fix. Going to stick with rev1 until future revisions, it's working beautifully.

IIRC, something was mentioned earlier in the thread about it being difficult to implement support for larger cluster sizes. On the bright side, it is better to reformat now than to have to re-rip/reload everything later.

Yeah, was on the way to moving my old backups, good thing I caught this first

Had a gamecube controller in and used "L". I assume that does the same as it changed from SD to USB, but still no games. Does not explain why I lost the ability to launch from disc channel as well. Dios mios installed, black screen from there. RVL-Mios-v10 installed, no problems.

Any ideas? No errors or anything during install.
