Ok I have managed to get it to work with USB loader GX (and really well!!!) Both DML booter and Wiiflow give me DSI must be something in the boot code as I assume Wiiflow and DML booter use the same code, I have tried on 2 different Wii's and hard drives.

They all use pretty much the same code, thats odd.

Yeah very. Using component cables not sure if that may be the issue. It's the only thing that would have been common between the 2 wii's

To think, I was actually looking forward to using DM. I guess... I'll just have to stick with DML v1.5 & QuadForce v1.0 FINAL for the time being then.

Thanks anyway, crediar and to anyone else who were involved in the development of DM.

Sorry if I sound like a noob, but...
Does it work with an emulated NAND? I tried it with UNEEK+DI but it just reboots the console.
I have been out of the Wii scene for some months and I have never used DML or QuadForce. Maybe I'm missing something...

I think for emulated Nand you need to replace 00000008.app in the BC folder (/title/00000001/00000100/content/), while on Real NAND it's the MIOS which is replaced (by installing the provided .wad file).

Dios Mios is currently only provided as a Wad for real nand.

Just that you know, crediar updated the wad again, it now should have a better hdd detection.

What is happening with the compatibility? Is there any risk, however minimal, of corrupting the data on the HDD? I do not want to lose my 300GB of data...
Thank you for your time.

Edit:
Definite improvement games that gave nothing but black screens are running great now

Is that true?

Well using the the first wad released earlier today only 1 out of the 20 games
i tried booted now with latest wad 18 out of the 20 work fine

I've never tried DML Before, so I installed it as best I knew how.

So I created a fat 32 32k partition on my usb along with my ntfs that I already use. FCEUGX seems to recognize it, so that seems to be fine.

I installed the updated wad and fix94's loader. When I switch to USB the only option I have is to boot the disc that's already in. And when I do it crashes.

So it doesn't seem to recognize my Luigi's Mansion rip in the drive. Does that mean it won't work, or did I miss a step?

No, the hdd cant corrupt because of that ;)

It happens that with DML, forcing the region in any game, suffered a corruption of all data on the card.
Can you guarantee me that my HDD will not suffer data corruption outside the folder "games"?
And now that I remember, I'm not sure if I misread, but I have understood that in the games folder, subfolders containing the * isos can have any name on the DML. Is it the same with DM?

When using NMM option it's saving to USB too?
I guess only one device is available at a time.

Could DM and DML fuse together in the future? for example switching from DM or DML code internally depending on the game's location.
or is there also a limitation of the MIOS size?

yes. I could launch game with this path:
/games/THE LEGEND OF ZELDA The Wind Waker for PAL [GZLP01]/game.iso

That shouldnt happen, the chance something corrupts is the same as with every other program. Oh and the iso files need to have the name game.iso, the folder name doesnt matter.
