anyone else having trouble with the DM booter forwarder not seeing gamecube games on usb? i mean if i launch DM booter from HBC it works fine and sees the gamecube games but if i launch the forwarder from inside gx it doesnt.

Not just you. Having same problem here.

Sounds like you have a channel installed not a forwarder.. start it from your forwarder and make sure it is revision 28, then check if it looking at your SD card or USB press the (-) button to change it .

I am starting it from the forwarder and still not working.

The version of the game i have on usb has never changed and its always worked with the game save i had on the card expect for today when it couldn't read it for some reason.
After i deleted the save file and then moved it back to the card again the game recognized it just fine.

-x is for extract an iso
-c is to rebuild an extracted iso

GCReEx.exe -x GWRE01.iso creates a folder named GWRE01 (Wave Race Blue Storm iso for example)

GCReEx.exe -c GWRE01 rebuilds the extracted iso as out.iso (GWRE01 or whatever the GAME ID is the name folder to be specified when rebuilding an iso)

I'm assuming GX is the one that actually tried detecting the correct version and failed since WiiFlow, DML Booter and CFG (to my knowledge, I may be wrong, though) had a setting telling it which one to use.

You are right about GX detecting the version instead of letting the user choose which version to use.
In fact, it's not completely detected but forced to version 1.
I'm adding the user choice like in other loaders, but I'm having a problem deciding how to manage the widescreen with 2.1, as it's a replaced setting but still using cfg v1, and in v2.2 it's correctly set to cfg v2.
2.1 should use the NoDisc setting, but I'm removing it completely since it's not used since 1.0 :/
Maybe I should put it back so you can use Widescreen with 2.1 by using NoDisc setting.
But a lot of users not following the development won't understand it, but I guess they won't use older version either so it should be fine.
I'll see what's the easier solution for newbie.

PADHOOK (fixes PSO1&2)

Which, btw, PSO 1&2 still isn't fixed. It's still crashing. I launched it from DM booter with all extra settings to off, 2.1+ launch mode, and no video patching.
