If Megaman works for a majority of others, is there just something wrong with my Wii then? Because other games work just fine with Dios Mios Lite. It is just this one that gives me trouble.

No, that's the point . It's a problem with some HDTV's. This is why Tantric's emulators hide the "original" video mode (240p) when it detects that the Wii is connected through component video cables.

Whether you launch it via the System Menu or Dios Mios (Lite), it never displays on a majority of HDTVs properly. Capcom really screwed up big time.

CRTs don't have that issue as all can display native 240p/240i, but Capcom butchered the port by writing the emulators in 240p resolution (at least I think they're emulated), and very few HDTVs display the game without pricey third-part upscaling devices, which is trivial to get just for one problematic game. Too bad there's no way to force the game to display in 480i/480p. Congrats Capcom, for making a crappy port.

Well I just tried it again, Megaman X Collection, along with all my other GC games with DML 2.2 and I can confirm it works fine too, also I will confirm that the new build of USBLoader GX has an auto detect for the DML version you're using, however while most games seem to work with No Disk+ enabaled, many give a black screen or freeze or even give graphical issues when it's enabaled, however the majority of games "almost all of them" work fine with it disababled, just thought I'd share this with those who still have an issue with it, oh and GX still doesn't detect the correct iso with two disk games if you had both in the same drive!

Anyway since I gave up on DM ever working and finally settled with DML 2.2, I got few questions that I'd like help with:

1- How to get Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II to work? I got the hack and I converted it to DiskEx format, I set all the settings correct like recommnded preaviously and now I get a message that says "error disk cover is open", I googled it and read in some forums that it should be converted with GCReEx format, only problem is I don't even know how to use that nor if there are any patches that I need to post, any help would be appreciated, I always wanted to play that game!

2- Can anyone give a guide on how to use cheat codes in DML?

3- Can anyone confirm if any of these games work fine with DML and wither a disk is required or not: Spider-Man the Movie, Pacman Fever, Sonic Gems Collection "first three games in the list"? Cause they don't work for me and I didn't test them with a disk in the drive with the new DML!

4- I don't suppose there's a fix for Phantasy Star Online Episode 3 yet, is there?

    Thanks in advance ;)

Again, someone will need to tell Crediar to add that to the notes.

Right, so it has nothing to do with DIOS MIOS and shouldn't be on the compatibility list - the game is being executed exactly the same as a retail copy launched from the system menu.
This is idiotic. HDTVs weren't common when the port was made, if they had used 480i mode they would have had a bunch of angry fans saying the opposite - that they had screwed up because it didn't use the original video mode. Saying they screwed up because it's not compatible with today's technology is like saying Nintendo screwed up because the NES and SNES used 240p. Stop blaming other people for your TV's crappy component compatibility.

Whatever. To hell with that. What did you expect me to buy on a college budget, a high-end TV?

That was the issue I had, it's impossible to know beforehand whether or not said HDTV supports that resolution as it's usually not mentioned in the specifications. Granted, I probably could have done more research (Vizio, although a budget brand, is not nearly as crappy as something like Westinghouse, Coby, Sansui or Philips), but there only way I'll have a chance in hell of playing 240p is if I get a third-party video scaler. Samsung, however, makes excellent TVs, I just splurged and bought because the picture quality is good and the ghosting is virtually nonexistent, which is also good, but as for unconventional resolutions, you can forget about it.

Weird, my Western Digital My Passport 500GB works perfectly. Maybe you're just using the wrong brand.

Shouldn't make a difference, the whole idea behind this program was to launch ISO images from a USB hard drive. Go easy on the bold text, it won't do any good.

I've used plenty of USB external drives, marck, and not one has given me a problem with Wii or GC games.
    All formatted as FAT32 btw.....

Wii gaming is fine but for GC gaming I always get a black screen, not even the splash screen shows up so I went back to DML 2.2, I so wanna get USB support to work for me I'm sick of having to copy each game from the HDD to the SD everytime I wanna play something!

Have you tried another USB device, like a USB stick? Just trying to figure out if it is your drive or drive controller that is causing the incompatibility.
