I know that the Dingoo has ceased official manufacturing since 5-6 years ago, but I still am thinking of getting either an A320 or A380 model(A330 model's firmware tends to be buggier, and buttons are often more shoddy than both the A320 and A380. And I am not risking a gamble with the Coolboy RS-97 atm). I'm personally leaning more towards the A380 even though its an unofficial upgrade. Maybe someday I'll install Dingux onto it in order to play some PS1 games.

Also, Please answer the poll if you have the time.

The cheapest option would be buying a RS97, v1 or v2 would do the job.

Cfw is ready for that systme, and there are multiple of them. PS1 is running good [not perfect] on it, so for around 60 bucks thats your best and cheapest option.

The A320 and A380 are quite more rare to find, altough the community of the A320 was [not sure if still is], great, but since the RS97 its ongoing atm, i would stick with it.

What difference does the Coolboy RS-97 have from the RevK101 other than name, price, and a specialized cart port in the RS-97?
RS-97 its a clone from the revK101, a clone of a clone.
the RS-97 has a 2gb or 4gb microsd card inside the console, that you can remove an flash files inside, [yes, i said flash, you need to flash an image in it, before drag and drop the new files.]

What tools are needed to properly flash the files in an RS-97?

The RS-97 is completely different to the Revo K101.

The Revo K101 is a GBA hardware clone. It will play GBA games and software only.

The RS-97 is a Dingoo clone using the same shell as the Revo K101 - but they are essentially totally different systems and not clones of each other.

A small screwdriver to open the system up. That will let you access the micro SD in the system.

Anything else in particular needed after that to flash the micro SD card?
