hi all.
i downloaded diigiitaldpg,
extracted it,
installed avisynth
installed k-lite codecpack,
loaded a mp4-file from youtube with j-downloader,
started conversion,
audio stream seems to be fine
then when it comes to decoding video stream diigiitaldpg states a codec is missing

please help me i'm sitting all day in front of my screen today and i don't find my mistake.

the file i'm talking about is Kirby2Ger 720p h264 aac

Edit: Funny thing though i think the same codecs are involved but this one works Kirby1Ger 720p h264 aac

This is apparently a known issue, and we will have to wait until the end of summer for a bugfix.

ok it's the name that makes the game. i named the nonworking file the same as the working one...solved.
The name that worked for me is:"Kirby TV-Show (Wii)01 _ Kirby kommt nach Zeetown.mp4"

no other filename i tried worked

somehow renaming worked but its too inconvenient. now i just messed arround with this tool. i removed the log of the incomplete process and gave admin rights to diigiitaldpg. nothing worked anymore. it was not possible to add files to the joblist. then i removed admin rights again. now it takes every file except the ones with names including ä,ö,ü and ß in the path or filename.

Yes, there is a mirror.
It's mentioned near the bottom of the first page.

Yes same error not only with mkv, i tested with also avi and mp4 but got the same issue.
Will be fixed this will be the best DPG encoder.

I don't know how or why but your programm works now. and i really love the quality of the converted files. i have tried other converters and didnt succeed using them. either the framerate was too low and not adjustable or the sound was bad. this one is the one that does a good job and i'm happy with it

The programm seems not to like foreign special letters and i noticed you are from canada, so your problem could be related to special french chararacters for example letters with accent agui,accent circonflexe, accent grave, cédille, trema and legatures. and you should remove the logfiles of any incomplete conversion. they are in the outputfolder.

i explained all i did in my other posts.

after i gave and removed rootrights to diigiitaldpg i sometimes had issues saying missing codec.
but when i had a closer look i saw that there was a special character or symbol that i didnt notice at first.
the big and annoying error where nothing worked and allways giving out missing codec,
was before removing logfiles and giving rootrights ,starting the executable, closing the programm and removing root rights again.

and i allways use drag and drop to add files, if this helps

Maybe i will do some research for Linux and Mac if you use Linux i recommend you to use Wine
