Different Pokemon Blue files?

So I wanted to be able to play Blue again, but my GBC is broken and a friend borrowed my GBA SP, so I got the rom file to play it on my DS.
But when I unzipped the file I got about 15 different files.
I tested it and they all play, but I was still wondering what the difference in the title means.
Are they like updated versions or something?
Also out of interest: Which is the most recent?

The top one is the normal one, the others are mods/translations I'm assuming.

[!] marks the known-good dump, usually the one you want.
T+(x) marks an unofficial translation.

marks a romhack (non-translation).

There's others not listed there, such as [o] for overdump, but I'm not familiar with , don't remember where the list of this info is.

Ok I see, then I'll just take the first file.
I wonder what the ones mean though, I can't tell the difference by playing them.

Looks like marks "bad dump", it's odd that there'd be so many and they're the proper size... probably have some data in the later regions corrupt, no clue why multiple bad copies would be archived.
