Hi people :P,
I'm planning to buy a Classic Controller, and so i searched for him, but now i got some questions:
1° What is the difference between Classic Controller And Classic controller Pro? Less buttons, rumble or something like? Who is the most comfortable in hands? I really want suggestions and opinions from who have it, or at least already tested it.
2° Really worth buying one? Even still having a gamecube controller? Can really play good games from VC/Wiiware and some wii titles too?

Sorry if this was already posted thousand times and thanks a lot people

neither has rumble
IIRC the only difference (besides the different shape) is that the non-pro controller has analog shoulder buttons (ZL, ZR)

I have a few of the old Classic Controllers, can't give an opinion about the Pro version since I didn't bother getting one yet.

But they are fantastic for emulation, and I enjoy that very much making the money well worth it.

And just out of curiosity, there's a CC hack for mario galaxy? :P

CCP is far more comfortable in my opinion. I didn't like the original, as there was nothing for my palms to press against.
CC remembers me a SNES controller, but with analogs, so i think i will stay with him (If i could find one near here, i don't really have patience for buying things like that from internet) :P

The CCs cord sticks out from below, like with Dreamcast controllers. Which is a bit weird. The CC Pros cord also seems to be longer, but only because it sticks out on the more conventional side.
The CC Pro has handles, which I personally found better. Don't get me wrong, I'll always love the SNES controller, but somehow the CC does not fit as good in my hand as that. Maybe because it is more rounded.
The CCs shoulder button seem to be analog, but nothing ever used that so it does not make any diference.
The CC had some kind of mechanism that would have allowed to attach it to something, but nothing official ever came out that used that. Maybe some kind of 3rd party attachment, but I never heard of anything.
On the CC L1+2 and R2+1 are in straight line on the back, on the CC Pro L1 is over L2 and R1 over R2, like on the PlayStation controllers (just with bigger L/R2 buttons).
Oh and the CC only comes in white, and the CC Pro comes in other colours (I know of black and red off the top of my head, and white was Japan only).

In the end it all comes down to controller shape (and cord) prefetrence. As said, there are slight hardware differences, but it does not affect anything.
Oh and I think there were 1 or 2 3rd party Classic Controllers, but they shouldn't but much different then the CC.

Ok, i got a CCP anyway, seemed more comfortable:lol:
Now some problems:
1° When start USB Loader GX r1215 with the CCP connection i got a code dump,
there's no big problem for me, since i can just connect after game starts, but i want to at least know it anyway.

2° When playing snes emulator (snes9GX) and pausing the game, i got surprised with dumpception:

The bolded part is wrong. I bought my CC Pro around the time it came out, and it's white.
Oh ok sorry, so it just was not sold in Europe in white, my bad. I am not sure if it was really never sold in white here, but when it came out only black was available. And even now amazon.de only sells red and black. I honestly did not know the Americas did get the white one.

Most comfortable is definitely the Pro controller. The only other difference is that the non-pro has analog shoulder buttons like someone mentioned, BUT I don't think there are games that actually make use of this. I could be wrong though.

Are you sure it's an original Nintendo controller? Is there branding on the controller?
I had issues like this with some classic controller clones that are exact copies of the Nintendo branded controller, minus all the branding, but wouldn't work correctly with homebrew. It caused random crashes and stack dumps and other issues.

Yes, the CCP is totaly genuine,
but i discovered the problem, i tried connecting on other wiimote and the dumps stopped, thanks
Also, thanks everyone for suggestions, i already got the CCP, even because the CC was horrible to hold in hands, and i don't care about shoulders, considering my wii have gamecube ports :P
The only thing that annoy me is the fact of my CCP is black, but connected to a white wiimote :glare:

Maybe you have a 3rd party wiimote? :P
The black CC Pro is sexy. I'm kind of annoyed that now that I have a deluxe Wii U all my controllers are in the wrong color :P

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
