Hardware Difference between 1st gen psp & 3rd gen psp?

Can 1st gen psp play all games with same speed or is it slower then later versions? & does it support all psp games?

Supports all of the games, however home brew can be slower in a few cases due to the lower internal memory. Overall, not a ton of difference, but from a quality standpoint I typically like the 3K best. Though that is entirely debatable. My biggest complaint with the original is that the dpad is pretty bad, especially after some use.

I got an offer for PSP 1003 model for 10$. I'm thinking right now because I already have 3003 model. Should I get it or is it a waste of time & money?

For $10. Might as well snag it. A backup, or hack it and resell it, or whatever you like.
