Hacking Did I perma-brick?

So, I was updating my flashcarts tonight... Hadn't been done in awhile... well, I have among other things an R4i Gold 3DS, and an R4i Gold Non-3DS... I sorta ran the latest "Non" Patch on both... both said they succeeded, but now nothing is seeing the R4i 3DS, and the R4i 3DS patches fail to recognize it. Any thoughts?

I had the same thing happen to me I just sorta gave up in frustration. (did you try to load the update with the working flash card then put in the bricked one and run the update that it was meant to have) cuz that's what I did and nothing happened

When it goes to card verification, it tells me "Fail" even though it is the right card.

There has to be a way to bypass the check and just flash

Agreed, but no idea how.

You have to find a friend with a R4i Gold 3DS same like yours . Then, try with it to flash your linker .

I wonder if the cart flasher/save dongle they came out with will succeed in flashing carts directly from the PC, where it fails on the 3/DS... Or if it fails there too. Anyone tried this thing?
