This is the reader that came with my CycloDS. Does anyone here have a similar one? I've noticed similar readers that have the CycloDS logo branded on them, but I've also read reviews with an entirely different reader pictured. I've also read that some of the included readers are absolute crap. Does this happen to be one of the good ones, or should I go buy a different one so that I don't get corrupt data down the road?

I have the same one.

I'm assuming it reads SDHC cards, right? I don't currently have an SDHC card right now, which is why I'm asking.

Yes, it reads microSDHC cards.

I received a different reader with my Evo that I purchased last month, a black one (which failed).

Pretty much every microSD reader you get is 10 times faster then the generic ones you get at the store. I have one that I got with my M3 Simply and it works insanely fast, transfers are done in a snap which is handy for when I am getting rushed out the door and I want to put a game on my card.

Yep that's the newer one. Not the older one that corrupts MicroSDs.
However, some people say that it's good, while others says it's crap and you should buy another one online.

My suggestion: If your computer has a built-in multimedia reader (including an SD slot), use it. Otherwise, use the included reader. If you get problems such as corrupt data or file loss, then get a new one. It could be a random problem.

I guess my next question is, do all SD readers also read microSDHC (with adapter, of course)? I have an SD reader I bought about 2 years ago and it's never given me any problems.

The two people besides me that i know have a cyclo both got the metal one with cyclods written on it. They dont work no more. Mine doesnt say cyclods on it and its fine.

That depends on your computer. If you have an up-to-date XP or Vista it should natively be compatible with SDHC. Think, if most computers were not SDHC compatible then the SDHC card wouldn't be a very good product.

Oi.. do them CyClosand whatnot take MICROSDs only or regular SDHCs as well???
The CycloDS and most other DS flash cards are both compatible with MicroSD and MicroSDHC. The major exception is the R4, which is only compatible with MicroSD.

There are no DS flash cards that are compatible with standard SD or standard SDHC. Those are simply too big for a DS flash card.
